Our role in the energy transition

Resato develops and produces hydrogen filling stations that are ready for the future. We provide solutions for heavy transport, public transport, logistics and passenger transport. Our systems are designed for high capacity, reliability and safety.

With more than 60 hydrogen filling stations delivered in Europe, we are actively contributing to a future-proof network.

Locally anchored, internationally active

From our main location in Assen, the Netherlands, we serve customers throughout Europe. We have stations in the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Belgium and France, among others. In 2019, we realized the first large public hydrogen filling station in the Netherlands in The Hague, and in 2023 we delivered the then largest hydrogen filling station in Europe (2,000 kg/day) to Hypion in Germany.

With the expansion of our production, we expect to triple the number of employees between now and 2030, as well as create hundreds of additional jobs in the regional supply chain. Through our own Resato H2 Academy, we train new technical talent, in close cooperation with educational institutions.

Hydrogen as a driving force for sustainable mobility

Hydrogen plays a key role in the energy transition, especially in sectors where full electrification is not feasible, such as heavy transport, long-distance logistics, construction equipment and public transport.

With the right hydrogen infrastructure, zero-emission hydrogen vehicles can compete with traditional diesel vehicles – without compromising on range or refueling time. Resato helps make this transition possible with reliable refueling solutions and project support from A to Z.
