Vissers Energy Group signs agreement for hydrogen refueling station at EnergyHub Venlo

Venlo, 25 September 2025 – Vissers Energy Group has officially commissioned the construction of a hydrogen refueling station at the new EnergyHub in Venlo. Due to open in June 2026, the station will have a daily hydrogen capacity of 1,000 kilograms and will be equipped with both 350 bar and 700 bar dispensers. This will make it suitable for both passenger cars and heavy-duty vehicles, such as trucks.
Thanks to the high filling pressures, refueling will be quick and efficient: passenger cars will be back on the road in under five minutes, and trucks can be fully refueled in under fifteen minutes.
The hydrogen refueling station is an important part of the EnergyHub Venlo, where Vissers Energy Group is committed to offering a complete range of traditional and sustainable fuels, electric charging infrastructure, food outlets, car washing facilities and other services.
'By realising this hydrogen refueling station, we are strengthening Venlo's position as a logistics hotspot and facilitating international hydrogen traffic between the Netherlands and Germany. This is an important step towards emission-free mobility,' says Gerbert Vissers, CEO of Vissers Energy Group.
This initiative underlines Vissers Energy Group's ambition to play a pioneering role in the energy transition and contribute to making mobility more sustainable in the region and beyond.
